Bringing the Bird Series Home 2022
After finishing the Bird Series, my daughter Crystal said that I got the concept all wrong. That to show the reality, especially of the Ibis flocks, I would have to paint them crossing the street, stopping all traffic, which is the true nature of these pesky birds! That is definitely true in our neighborhood. So I painted two such renditions, one looking toward our house on her arrival, and one looking from our house as Crystal leaves. I even painted the hood of her car. Coming..... .....and going.
